OVS 280-20 Heavy-Duty Stamping Lubricant

Metal Mates OVS 280-20 is a heavy-duty semi-synthetic lubricant for stamping, forming, piercing, drawing, and punching in a variety of metals. A lower-viscosity (easier to mix) version of OVS-210, includes the same micro-emulsion stamping and drawing lubricant designed to work with progressive dies and multi-forming operations. It provides superior physical and chemical lubrication for a wide range of metal deformation applications. OVS has extreme pressure and anti-wear additives to reduce and eliminate scoring in heavy-duty stamping, punching, and forming. The OVS micro-emulsion technology prevents oily build-up and extends tool and die life by allowing metal fines to easily wash out.  Dries to a clean touch and doesn’t leave a sticky or tacky residue on parts.

Easy clean-up with no pre-weld wash needed.  Greatly reduces smoke and fumes during welding.  Recommended for use with 0.150" - 0.200" cold-rolled, electro-galvanized (galvanneal), hot-dip galvanized, stainless, high-strength steel (HSS), and ultra-high-strength steels (UHSS).
